This birding and photography experience requires special permission and the company of the Owner. The pans display vibrant greens, reds, and oranges with stunning textures as the water evaporates, and salt crystallizes. Rare waders like the Phalarope can be spotted here, along with close-up views of the chestnut-banded plover and other waders, offering prime opportunities for birders and photographers.
Special Birding and Photography Cruises
Early morning or late afternoon at low tide are the best times for birding and photography as the sand banks are open and usually teem with birds. We have birding lists on board and expert registered guides will accompany you on the birding trips. They can be pre-booked for the trip at an extra fee.
