Dr Mark or better known as "Oom Dr", studied in Bloemfontein, I knew that I would return as soon as I could to specialise in paediatric medicine. I have since been practicing paediatric medicine for the last 16 years, 10 of which are in private practice. I enjoy working with all newborn babies and have experience with premature infants weighing as little as 800g. I will be available to follow-up babies for routine check-ups and acute illnesses from birth to 17 years of age. It is most enjoyable working with a strong team of health and allied health professionals and together we aim to support the family as whole entity. Nothing is more rewarding than sending a happy and healthy child home to his/her parents!
